WHAT’S THE JUICE?
In just a couple days, four valiant members of our community will be hosting a week of charity streams in support of the Gamers Outreach Foundation. Tune in for some fun, Guild Wars 2 shenanigans and to show your support to the initiative by contributing to each streamer’s personal milestones. Note that there is no set schedule for the streams, but we will be announcing them on Twitter. Alternatively, you can check our Stream Team page, or the Streamers Discord channel to check who’s live. ABOUT GAMERS OUTREACH
The Gamers Outreach Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides entertainment to hospitalized families through videogames. Each year, millions of children and their families receive medical care inside hospitals and for many, the process can be scary and isolating. During hospitalization, kids lose access to friends, school, and moments that typically define childhood. This charity’s mission is to ease all that stress and help to restore that lost sense of joy and normalcy. Videogames are an easy escape for many of us; for children in the midst of treatment, they provide access to digital playgrounds, in which kids can explore worlds, connect with others, express creativity, and most importantly – simply have fun. You can become a part of the Gamers Outreach quest too, by joining their monthly giving community, The GRID.
GAMERS FOR GIVING
Founded in 2008, Gamers for Giving is a streaming marathon and LAN party that helps raise funds for Gamers Outreach. Through the years, the video game community has helped raise millions of dollars, enabling more than four million gaming experiences each year for families receiving care.
MARCH 26, THE GRAND FINALE
A week long of charity streams can only end in a grand finale and for that, Globe is here to deliver, again! Last month, he hosted the first edition of a monthly PvP tournament, which was received very positively. The Cornerstone Brawl is coming back this Sunday, March 26, this time with a 2v2 tournament. SUPPORT THE EVENT
