This celestial booster build is great offensive support made for open-world and is beginner friendly. The equipment above is designed to be played with no modifications from the exotic gear obtained by the level 80 booster. If one does not have the level 80 booster available to them then the equipment can be obtained through crafting or purchasing directly from the trading post. This build utilizes the elite specialization of a Catalyst. Specifically, this build will allow you to provide with Quickness, Protection, Might, Resistance, Fury, and Resolution. These boons make this build great for both group and solo content.

    Build Fundamentals

Catalyst is unique because of the mechanic Deploy Jade Sphere. The spheres deal damage and give boons to your allies. To cast the spheres you want to build energy, which is done by hitting enemies with your skills and auto-attacks. We can also gain energy by swapping attunements thanks to Energized Elements. Your main source of generating energy quickly is by upkeeping hammer three skills that hit often, Crescent Wind, Rocky Loop, Icy Coil, and Flame Wheel. It is important to know what each sphere does because we can not gain energy while a sphere is active.

Since you are playing a condition variant, starting in air attunement will give you quickness with Deploy Jade Sphere. Then use Crescent Wind and Shock Blast. Swap to fire attunement and use Deploy Jade Sphere to give yourself might use all your hammer skills. Since you are left with 10 more energy, swap to earth attunement and use Deploy Jade Sphere hammer five Ground Pound, Rocky Loop, and Whirling Stones before swapping to water attunement. While in Water Attunement we want to use Icy Coil and Rain of Blows before swapping back to Air Attunement with full energy. This is going to be our baseline rotation.

Catalyst is also very strong defensively due to Deploy Jade Sphere giving you Protection and Resistance. Additionally, Crashing Font being used in water fields from Deploy Jade Sphere and Armor of Earth provide Stability and Stun Break. Furthermore, Glyph of Elementals will give you a minion to tank for you!
