Booster Tempest

This celestial booster build is great offensive support made for open-world and is beginner friendly. The equipment above is designed to be played with no modifications from the exotic gear obtained by the level 80 booster. If one does not have the level 80 booster available to them then the equipment can be obtained through crafting or purchasing directly from the trading post. This build utilizes the elite specialization of the tempest. Specifically, this build will allow you to provide excellent boons and respectable damage.

Build Fundamentals

The purpose of this build is to support allies with excellent healing, Might, Protection, Vigor, Regeneration, Swiftness and Alacrity as well as provide very strong condition cleanse.

Support

This build functions well as a burst healer. "Wash the Pain Away!" is a strong heal and condition cleanse. Other options for healing include Tidal Surge, Water Globe and Overload Water.

Support starts with the use of "Aftershock!". Finish your overloads in Fire Attunement, Air Attunement, and Earth Attunement while using your warhorn skills off cooldown. While in Fire Attunement it’s important to use Heat Sync which will spread all the boons on you to nearby allies. Furthermore, swapping to Earth Attunement, and using Sand Squall will extend these boons even further.

"Eye of the Storm!" gives you Stability and is your stun break as well as allows you to share Superspeed!

Overloading increases the recharge of the attunement when swapping to a different attunement. It is very important to finish your overloads since it’s the only way we can share Alacrity.

Damage

Damage starts with Overload Air to apply Vulnerability. Then rotate between Fire Attunement and Earth Attunement. Skills to use in Fire Attunement are Wildfire, Dragon's Tooth and Phoenix. The skills to use in Earth Attunement are Dust Storm, Stone Shards and Hurl. After using all the aforementioned abilities and overloading, swap back to Air Attunement to reapply Vulnerability.

Alternatives

Glyph of Elementals can be replaced with "Rebound!".

Signet of Fire can also be replaced with skills that make you more versatile, like Lightning Flash for a long-range teleport, Glyph of Renewal for a long-range resurrection skill, or Armor of Earth if Stability is needed.
