Utility Skills

This bruiser build offers a good balance of sustain vs damage. Gameplay revolves around Fire Traitline. The idea is that you gain a lot of Burning and damage but you also gain a lot of condition cleanse.

Build fundamentals

Every time you get a Fire Aura you will cleanse conditions on yourself. This applies to any source of Fire Aura, Example Fire Shield or attuning to Fire Attunement.

Your healing mainly comes from using a blast finisher in your water field from Riptide and dodging in Water Attunement thanks to Evasive Arcana (dodging in Water Attunement will also cleanse a condition).

Healing Rotation

There are many different ways to blast your water field but the main way is to:

  1. Start in Water Attunement/Earth Attunement
  2. Riptide
  3. Magnetic Wave during Riptide
  4. Swap to Earth Attunement
  5. Earthen Vortex

You can also use a Leap out of a Water field (Flame Uprising or Polaric Leap ) to heal or you can Dodge in Earth Attunement for an extra blast thanks to Evasive Arcana.

Damage Rotation

Your biggest damage skill is Pyro Vortex but you can also use any skills that apply Burning or Bleeding.

A good combo would be:

  1. Fire Attunement/ Air Attunement
  2. Gale
  3. Pyro Vortex
  4. Primordial Stance
  5. Fire Attunement
  6. Flame Uprising
  7. Transmute Fire (For the Burning and extra Might)

You should also keep in mind that you benefit from staying in Fire Attunement for as long as you can because of Pyromancer's Puissance trait. If you leave Fire Attunement you will instantly lose 10 stacks of Might.

Primordial Stance applies conditions based off what Attunements you are currently in. This also means if you are fully attuned to one element you will apply two stacks of the condition. eg: Fire Attunement / Fire Attunement will apply two stacks of Burning.
