Introduction

Power Alacrity Mechanist is a versatile build, providing permanent and 25 stacks of when paired with any Quickness Build. This build can choose from several different weapon variants – Rifle has slightly lower DPS than the two melee options, but comes with the advantage of being able to DPS from range.

Build Fundamentals

is purely generated by your Mech. This means that you have to make sure that your Mech is always at least within 600 range of your party and at least within 360 range when you use Barrier Burst. While this will happen naturally in most encounters you should still keep an eye on your Mech’s position, especially on bosses with very large hitboxes.

This sounds more complicated than it actually is – all you need to do is press Crisis Zone and Barrier Burst off cooldown while doing your normal rotation.

In addition to , Crisis Zone also provides and . Unfortunately, you can’t delay Crisis Zone by more than a few seconds as it is your main way to provide to your party.

Mechanical Genius gives your Mech a percentage of your attributes as long as you stay close to it. The trait applies a buff which is also called Mechanical Genius to indicate that you’re close enough, so make sure to pay attention to it – without this trait active, your DPS and support output will be considerably weaker. The buff is reapplied when you get in range of your Mech and lasts for 3 seconds when you move out of range.

Build Specifics

TIP: Engineers can enter kits while channelling skills without interrupting them. Practice casting weapon skills while entering Grenade Kit to make sure your rotation is up to speed.

Shift Signet is not only a long-range blink but can also be used as a , condition cleanse, and reposition your Mech if needed. Should your Mech die you can resummon it with Overclock Signet.

When in Grenade Kit always use Shrapnel Grenade and follow up with Poison Grenade andFreeze Grenade if they are off cooldown, otherwise just exit the kit early.

Start with Blunderbuss, use your Grenade Kit and follow up with the remaining Rifle skills.

You can use any Gear combination as long as you have around 52% boon duration and reach 45% critical hit chance, before and before Hematic Focus and High Caliber.
