    Introduction

    Power Mechanist can choose from several different sets of weapons depending on your preferred playstyle and what the encounter demands (see top of page). Sword and Pistol provides consistent melee damage along with a small amount of CC.

    For the kit-less low intensity version, check the alternatives section at the bottom.

    Build Fundamentals & Specifics

    Mechanical Genius gives your Mech a percentage of your attributes as long as you stay close to it. The trait applies a buff which is also called Mechanical Genius to indicate that you’re close enough, so make sure to pay attention to it – without this trait active, your output will be considerably weaker. The buff is reapplied when you get in range of your Mech and lasts for 3 seconds when you move out of range.

    TIP: Engineers can enter kits while channelling skills without interrupting them. Practice casting weapon skills while entering Grenade Kit to make sure your rotation is up to speed.

    Shift Signet is not only a long-range blink but can also be used as a , condition cleanse, and reposition your Mech if needed. Should your Mech die you can resummon it with Overclock Signet.

    When in Grenade Kit always use Shrapnel Grenade and follow up with Poison Grenade andFreeze Grenade if they are off cooldown, otherwise just exit the kit early.

    Try to pair together Refraction Cutter and Shrapnel Grenade.
