Power Mechanist is a strong DPS Option on virtually all encounters in the game. It is fully ranged, has great self-sustain, great mobility, amazing Crowd Control, and access to decent self-Quickness, some group Might all while being very easy to pick up.

Build fundamentals

Shift Signet is not only a long-range blink but can also be used as a Stun Break, condition cleanse, and reposition your mech if needed. Should your mech die you can resummon it with Overclock Signet.

You are able to support some group Might generation with Blunderbuss as well as provide yourself with a lot of Quickness via Mech Core: Jade Dynamo.

Mechanical Genius gives your Mech a percentage of your attributes. It also gives you this icon on your buff bar if you don’t have it there’s a 50% penalty on the stats inherited by your mech making your mech very weak. The Mechanical Genius buff is reapplied every 3 seconds if you are within a 300 radius of your mech and lasts for a total of 6 seconds. So make sure to stay close to your mech whenever possible to reapply the buff.

Rotation Tips

Blunderbuss and Shrapnel Grenade are your strongest weapon skills. Blunderbuss can always be followed up with Shrapnel Grenade if the Rotation is executed properly since their cooldown is similar.

Entering Grenade Kit and leaving Grenade Kit with Stow Grenade Kit doesn’t cancel skills. However, swapping back to Rifle with Weapon Swap does.

If you only use Shrapnel Grenade in Grenade Kit you will have to swap back to Rifle with Weapon Swap since Stow Grenade Kit will still be on cooldown.

Net Shot and Overcharged Shot will cancel other weapon skills. This includes Freeze Grenade and Poison Grenade if you swap back to Rifle with Stow Grenade Kit.

Don’t cancel other Mechskills with Overclock Signet.

• Net Shot as it procs Mech Fighter
• Overcharged Shot
• Jade Mortar
• Core Reactor Shot
• Crash Down

Most of these skills are used in your Rotation so make sure to save them when you know that a break bar is coming up.

Skills

Rectifier Signet can be replaced with A.E.D. to skip mechanics on encounters like Sabir.

Gear

Superior Sigil of Impact can be replaced with Superior Sigil of Air. Superior Sigil of Impact pulls ahead compared to Superior Sigil of Air in Strikes, Keep Construct, Fractals, and any Encounter with adds.

Superior Sigil of Impact can be replaced with Superior Sigil of the Night for Encounters during Night time.
