Condition Willbender

Condition Willbender is a damage build that focuses on applying Burning to the enemies while being relatively simple to play due to the skill-priority-based rotation. It can provide decent CC through Heaven's Palm and can bring core guardian utility such as "Stand Your Ground!" and Bow of Truth as needed.

Optimized variant of this build will offer the highest possible DPS with a bit more focus on hybrid power/condition damage the build can offer.

Universal variant sacrifices a small amount of DPS by swapping to Superior Rune of the Trapper and focusing more on condition damage. The main advantage here is the ease of swapping to Condi Firebrand (Universal) especially if a legendary armor set is available to the player.

Build Fundamentals

Your main damage source will be your auto attacks with constant Rushing Justice upkeep. You absolutely need to use Rushing Justice off cooldown and prioritize it over any other skill. Don’t get too used to the cooldown of it, as it can be reduced with Renewed Justice.

Your other heavy hitters will be Symbol of Punishment and Purging Flames, use them off cooldown.

While you should use Zealot's Flame off cooldown as it is instant cast, its active part, Zealot's Fire, shouldn’t be used over any of the skills listed above. Zealot's Fire procced from Radiant Fire or manually triggered with Zealot's Flame will stay for a short while, so try to use both charges when possible, or simply wait while using your higher damage skills.

Lastly, Whirling Light should be used off cooldown as your lowest priority, and Cleansing Flame should only be cast during longer (2+ seconds) downtimes between skills.

You should squeeze most from your Weapon Swap and sigil effects by swapping off cooldown, but if your symbol (for example) Symbol of Punishment is coming off cooldown and it’s below ~2 seconds, you should delay Weapon Swap to use symbol so its cooldown will be then reduced “in background” by Restorative Virtues.

Willbender is able to generate Burning Bolts Combo on its own: by using Whirling Light (and if you are playing Greatsword: Whirling Wrath) inside Purging Flames.

Skills

Your elite and healing skills can be replaced by anything based on the situation.

• If you don’t need CC from Heaven's Palm, you can for example swap it to "Feel My Wrath!" to help with boon uptime for your group.
• Litany of Wrath should be picked up for bosses with heavy damage phases like Gorseval CC phase

And finally, if your squad needs more Stability, you can swap Signet of Wrath for "Stand Your Ground!".
