Booster Chronomancer

Introduction

This Celestial Booster Chronomancer is a great beginner-friendly offensive support setup made for open-world. The equipment above is designed to be played with the Exotic gear obtained by the Level 80 Boost, with some modifications to runes and sigils. To gear this build without the Level 80 Boost, use crafting or purchase items directly from the trading post.

NOTE: This build uses Relic of Akeem which requires Secrets of the Obscure, if you do not own it you can use Relic of the Aristocracy. sadly there isn’t a good relic alternative at the current moment for non-expansion players.

Build Fundamentals

Select the trait Stretched Time or Seize the Moment if your team needs or , respectively.

Summon Phantasms with Phantasmal Mage and Phantasmal Warlock or clone with Phase Retreat and use Shatter skills to share or .

You have access to permanent through Bountiful Disillusionment and blocks with Illusionary Counter.

Build Specifics

Prioritize shattering Rewinder with 3 clones. This skill gains cooldown reduction for each clone that is shattered.

Use Signet of the Ether to reset the cooldown of your phantasmal skills. This can be combined with Continuum Split to generate many phantasms and burst your target.

You have access to good mobility with Phase Retreat and Blink and with The Prestige and Mass Invisibility.

Use Distortion to be immune to damage for a few seconds.

Your auto-attack chain on Scepter creates a clone on the third hit, and Illusionary Counter creates a clone upon blocking.

Try to use Phase Retreat in the field created by Chaos Storm to gain Chaos Aura.

Use your phantasms and clones as decoys and use your range to your advantage!

Crowd Control

• Time Sink high CC when used with 3 clones active.
• Signet of Domination

If equipped:

• Gravity Well – for good area CC and healing at the end. This skill has very high Crowd Control if the target stays in all of the pulses.
• Signet of Humility high CC on a single target.

Alternatives

For higher budget:

• Swap Superior Sigil of Earth to Superior Sigil of Torment on Staff.
• Superior Rune of the Necromancer to Superior Rune of the Trapper if you can craft them.
• You can change The Pledge and Maim the Disillusioned to Persistence of Memory and Phantasmal Haste to for solo gameplay, and swap out Seize the Moment to Chronophantasma.
