This celestial booster build is great offensive support made for open-world and is beginner friendly. The equipment above is designed to be played with no modifications from the exotic gear obtained by the level 80 booster. If one does not have the level 80 booster available to them then the equipment can be obtained through crafting or purchasing directly from the trading post. This build utilizes the elite specialization of a herald. Specifically, this build will allow you to provide you and your party with 100% Quickness, Protection, Swiftness, Fury, Regeneration uptime and up to 25 stacks of Might. Booster herald also possesses excellent sustain, defensive options, and control abilities meaning it can survive almost all situations and performs well in almost any solo or group scenario!

Build Fundamentals

The most important part of this build is upkeeping all of your boons to maximize the effectiveness to you and your allies and this is done through the utility skills from Legendary Dragon Stance and maintaining Facet of Nature.

Legendary Dragon Stance abilities are called facets, activating them once will drain your energy over time and pulse out boons in a large radius around your location for you and your allies. After consuming a facet, Draconic Echo allows boons to continue to pulse for a short duration as well as applies Quickness.

The basic rotation is to activate your facet skills Facet of Light, Facet of Darkness, Facet of Elements, and Facet of Strength while upkeeping Facet of Chaos. What you want to do next changes depending on the situation.

If you engage in combat after activating all of your basic facets you can consume Chaotic Release and then immediately legend swap to Legendary Demon Stance for big damage by maintaining Embrace the Darkness. After Legendary Dragon Stance is off cooldown swap back as soon as possible for more boons! After this first rotation, you’ll want to stay in Legendary Dragon Stance long enough to consume Facet of Darkness, Facet of Elements, and Facet of Strength twice to maximize boon output before unleashing Chaotic Release and swapping to Legendary Demon Stance. While rotating through legends use Searing Fissure, Echoing Eruption, Temporal Rift, and finish auto-attack chains. Temporal Rift costs quite a lot of energy, so bare this in mind when using this skill as it may cancel your facets if done incorrectly.

Every time you swap legends you’ll activate Invoking Torment. Combined with Diabolic Inferno deals a very high amount of damage. Swapping legends will instantly restore your energy to 50 so you can use more skills, this means you’ll want to swap legends frequently.

Using your elite skills (Embrace the Darkness, Facet of Chaos and Chaotic Release) is very important as they activate Spiritual Reckoning which maintains Resolution on you. Resolution has great synergy with this build and will reduce incoming strike damage by 10% thanks to Determined Resolution while also increasing all outgoing damage by 10% because of Vicious Reprisal. Vicious Reprisal also causes you to gain a stack of Might every second while you have Resolution which works well with Shared Empowerment from the Herald trait line, causing you to pulse out a very large amount of Might to your allies!

Managing Facet Abilities

Facets are primarily used to upkeep boons and deal damage. They also have very powerful active abilities that you’ll sometimes want to use a bit more situationally.

Facet of Light Infuse Light is one of the best self-healing skills in the entire game and works by converting all incoming damage into healing!

Facet of Darkness Gaze of Darkness is a Stun Break. While stunned, you can swap legends, so if you are caught with no Stun Break, swap legends and then you’ll probably have access to one. This is especially true when swapping to Legendary Demon Stance because Pain Absorption has no cooldown.

Facet of Chaos Chaotic Release great knockback capabilities. Applies superspeed to nearby allies making it a great mobility tool for you and your team.

Crowd Control

If you need to be unkillable and solo more or less any content then replace Retribution with Devastation and take Battle Scarred, Thrill of Combat, and Dance of Death. This combination of traits will provide enough life steal to out sustain almost anything at the cost of damage output.
