This Celestial Booster Herald is a great offensive support made for open-world and is beginner friendly. The equipment above is designed to be played with the Exotic gear obtained by the Level 80 Boost, with some modifications to runes, weapons, and sigils. If one does not have the level 80 booster available to them then the equipment can be obtained through crafting or purchasing directly from the trading post. This build utilizes the Herald elite specialization of a Revenant. Specifically, this build will allow you to provide you and your party with 100% , , , , uptime and up to 25 stacks of . Booster herald also possesses excellent sustain, defensive options, and control abilities so it can survive almost all situations and performs well in almost any solo or group scenario!

Build Fundamentals

Legendary Dragon Stance abilities are called facets, activating them once will drain your energy over time and pulse out boons in a large radius around your location for you and your allies. While in Legendary Dragon Stance, activate Facet of Chaos and Facet of Darkness to pulse . While in Legendary Demon Stance keep Embrace the Darkness active for damage and around you. Herald applies via Elevated Compassion whenever you channel an ability that drains 6 or more energy per second (upkeep). Whenever your energy is being drained, you pulse around you. Swapping legends will instantly restore your energy to 50 so you can use more skills, this means you’ll want to swap legends frequently.

Build Specifics

Power Quickness Herald provides many boons with Legendary Dragon Stance and can extend all boons on allies with True Nature.

Maintain facets while in Legendary Dragon Stance to generate a substantial amount of for you and your subgroup via Shared Empowerment. Optionally keep pulsing Facet of Darkness for Fury, and Might via Shared Empowerment.

Managing Facet Abilities

Facets are primarily used to pulse boons to you and allies around. They also have very powerful active abilities that you’ll sometimes want to use a bit more situationally or regularly for a damage increase.

• Facet of Light pulses
  • Infuse Light is one of the best self-healing skills in the entire game and works by converting all incoming damage into healing!
• Facet of Darkness pulses
  • Gaze of Darkness is a self . While stunned, you can swap legends, so if you are caught with no , swap legends and then you’ll probably have access to one. This is especially true when swapping to Legendary Demon Stance because Pain Absorption has no cooldown.
• Facet of Strength pulses
  • Burst of Strength grants a damage increasing presonal buff to you if you hit an enemy with it. Because of the excess this builds already has, this Facet is usually used for Burst of Strength, providing damage and high uptime of the unique buff.
• Facet of Elements pulses
  • Elemental Blast casts magical dragonfire to the targeted area which inflicts conditions on enemies, including for damage. This Facet is usually used for a damage increase, and with the same cooldown as Burst of Strength both can be used in conjunction, one after another.
• Facet of Chaos pulses
  • Chaotic Release great knockback capabilities. Applies superspeed to nearby allies making it a great mobility tool for you and your team.

• Call to Anguish is great for pulling groups of enemies together.

Alternatives

• While Food and Enhancement aren’t required for this build to function, missing out completely will come at a cost in damage output. A cheap alternative food option are Koi Cake[s].
• If you don’t own the Secrets of the Obscure expansion, fear not! This Booster Herald comes in another variant with more defense, which uses a Staff instead of the Shortbow and Relic[s] of the Flock instead of Relic[s] of the Fractal.
• Diabolic Inferno and Pact of Pain can be taken in order to increase damage output, at a cost of survivability and tankiness.
• This build is similar in playstyle to Condition Quickness Herald, which trades survivability and tankiness for tremendous amounts of damage.
