This celestial booster build is great offensive support made for open-world and is beginner friendly. The equipment above is designed to be played with no modifications from the exotic gear obtained by the level 80 booster. If one does not have the level 80 booster available to them then the equipment can be obtained through crafting or purchasing directly from the trading post. This build utilizes the elite specialization of a specter. Specifically, this build will allow you to provide Alacrity, some Vigor, Fury, and Swiftness to the party and good overall damage by applying large amounts of Torment and Poisoned. It also provides a lot of barrier with some healing and decent crowd control.

    Build Fundamentals

    Initiative
The initiative is a skill cost mechanic unique to all thief professions. Instead of having recharge time on your weapon skills, thief spends the initiative to use their skills whenever. You have a pool of 12 initiative points that recharge over time. Since you are using Quick Pockets you also gain it while swapping weapons.

    Wells and Shrouds
You gain all your boons by using wells Well of Bounty, Well of Sorrow, Well of Gloom, Well of Silence and Shadowfall. While using Traversing Dusk you are also going to provide Alacrity and healing to allies within range. Another unique mechanic of the specter is Enter Shadow Shroud, which gives an additional health bar and five more skills.

Haunt Shot provides us with Might and damages enemies with Torment.
Grasping Shadows cleanses conditions and damages enemies with Torment in a targeted area.
Dawn's Repose provides Barrier and inflicts Fear on enemies.
Eternal Night provides self-healing and inflicts enemies with Poisoned, Chilled and Weakness.
Mind Shock provides us with three stacks of Stability and stuns enemies.

You gain shadow shroud force by using wells via Traversing Dusk, by spending initiative, and by using F1 Siphon.
When you leave the shadow shroud all your shadow force gets converted to healing and Barrier via Consume Shadows.

Your main weapon set is going to be a scepter and a dagger. Prioritize using Twilight Combo as your main source of damage. If you can’t cast it due to not having enough initiative, you can fill with your scepter Auto-attack chain and Siphon off-cooldown.
Usually, you will want to want to stay in the shadow shroud until you have used Grasping Shadows three times. While waiting to cast Grasping Shadows, you will want to use Eternal Night and Mind Shock off-cooldown and fill with your auto-attack.

Quick Pockets also triggers when you enter Shadow shroud Enter Shadow Shroud
