Announcing Masters of the Arena III

Greetings Guild Wars 2 Gamers,

It has been two long years, but we are back with another MASSIVE PvP tournament: Masters of The Arena III. Join us on the 15th & 16th of November for a 2 day PvP extravaganza shoutcasted by none other than MightyTeapot.

Contenders will battle it out in multiple strategic point capture and holding maps with secondary objectives present as a source of additional complexity and depth. The standard PvP ruleset is in play and teams are unlimited in their approach to the game except for stacking more than one of a character specialization.

The event is fueled by the infinite energy and passion of the Guild Wars 2 community and both the in game and cash prizing are being crowdfunded by the extremely generous players that inhabit the game!

Format

Masters of the Arena III will be an 8-12 team invitational tournament featuring a double elimination bracket teams seeded based on previous performance.

Rules

The team composition rules this time around are quite simple: teams cannot stack multiple of the same elite specialization. Profession stacking is allowed.

Prizes

All players participating in Masters of The Arena III will receive:

• 100 gold for every match won outside of top 4

Prizepool distribution: (Subject to change)

• 1st place: 35% of the gold prize pool, 60% of the cash prize  1600 gems per player,
• 2nd place: 25% of the gold prize pool, 25% of the cash prize 800 gems per player
• 3rd place: 20% of gold prize pool, 15% of the cash prize 400 gems per player
• 4th place: 15% of gold prize pool, 400 gems per player

The remaining 5% of total prizepool is designated for bounty prizing, any leftover gold will be saved for future Hardstuck events/tournaments. Players found to have violated our code of conduct or tournament rules may have prizing denied or revoked.

You can help us grow the prizepool by sending items in-game to either MightyTeapot.2093 or Super Fohd.6245. You’ll even end up on the contributors list on the Hardstuck website. Wow!

Schedule

The tournament will take place this weekend and is segmented over 2 seperate days!

• 15th of November (5 PM GMT / 6 PM CET / 11 AM ET): Day 1 matches
• 16th of November (5 PM GMT / 6 PM CET / 11 AM ET): Day 2 matches
