    Introduction

Grenade Scrapper is an easy-to-learn roamer with high mobility and superlative AOE pressure in teamfights. Scrapper is currently the most popular roamer for Ranked Queue due to its damage, Superspeed access, and Stealth.

    Build Fundamentals

Scrapper is strong because of its access to key boons in pvp. Kinetic Accelerators gives Might and permanent Fury uptime, Gyroscopic Acceleration provides Superspeed, and Rune of the Chronomancer gives Quickness whenever you use one of your gyros.

Tip: Superspeed isn’t a boon so it can’t be removed or corrupted. Use it to counteract impairing effects like Chilled and Crippled and escape safely.

Nade Scrapper uses this combination of boons to spam constant AOE pressure with Grenade Kit at range. Scrapper also has built-in support with Function Gyro that lets you res allies or stomp enemies.

    Playstyle

Scrapper’s opening burst from stealth is incredibly oppressive because it double stuns opponents in quick succession while blasting enough damage to down most opponents in just a few seconds. By opening with Thunderclap, but precasting Blast Gyro, we present opponents with an impossible situation. If they stunbreak Thunderclap, they immediately tank the follow-up cc and die. If they try to wait out the first stun and stunbreak Blast Gyro, they will tank so much damage that they’ll most likely be dead. Most players will either be forced to use multiple stunbreaks or simply die.

Tip: In teamfights, sit at range and freecast grenades while using About Face if pressured. You will still have AOE cleave but enemies will have no way to retaliate.

Your main use as a Scrapper is a roamer. You can easily +1 duelists on a side node since your Stealth burst is impossible to predict, and your Superspeed lets you outrotate opposing roamers. Unlike other roamers however, Scrapper is dominant in teamfights since all of your spike damage is AOE. Try to stay in motion as much as possible and generate momentum on the map for your team. Sitting still is the best way to get locked down and die, so always be on the move.

    Sustain

Scrapper’s biggest weakness comes from its lack of condition mitigation. Aside from Sigil of Cleansing and Mechanized Deployment, you have no active condition removal. While this is a bit of a limitation, there is very little condition damage in the meta right now so it isn’t particularly relevant. If you find yourself struggling into condition damage, you can drop Shredder Gyro/Slick Shoes  for Elixir S and use the invuln to wait out a condition burst. Keep in mind that Electro-whirl is also a short-cd projectile reflect, meaning it sends damage back at your target.

Medic Gyro is a decent heal, but it also has a water field attached. Leaping through it with Rocket Charge gives 2×1300 healing or 2600 base healing on top of what you get from the gryo. All your gyros also apply Superspeed, which is constantly healing you because of Rapid Regeneration. Last, Big Boomer heals you every second, so make sure to proc it as often as possible with Explosions such as Grenades or Explosive Entrance .
