    Rotation

Core terrormancer is a tanky alternative to other dps necromancer builds. Terrormancer offers great team utility and damage along with an enormous 31k HP pool from Carrion Amulet and a second health bar from Death Shroud .

Fear is a special condition that makes opponents flee away from you, and this build is built around spamming it as much as possible.

    Build Fundamentals

Terrormancer relies on chaining Fear and combining it with Terror to deal high damage while keeping opponents cc locked. Terrormancer also has high amounts of Torment and Bleeding and decent passive power damage.

As a condition necromancer, one of your most powerful tools is access to boon corruption.  Feast of Corruption  and Weakening Shroud  all convert opponents’ boons into conditions and are powerful passive damage in teamfights. Save boon corrupts and strips to remove important boons like Stability or Protection.

Your Death Shroud applies Burning and Torment, make sure to keep constant pressure on targets in teamfights. Try to stay near your support player if you have one and try to peel for them (keep the other team from killing them).

    Crowd Control

All of your CC comes in the form of Fear. You have five sources of fear: Reaper's Mark , Wail of Doom , Spectral Ring , Ripple of Horror , and Doom . Try to chain these together and space out your damage to keep opponents Fear locked for as long as possible.

Force your opponents to walk through Spectral Ring by using other Fear skills to keep a Fear chain going.

You also have some soft cc from the Immobilize from Tainted Shackles and Chilled from Chillblains and Dark Path.

    Sustain

Core Necromancer has excellent passive sustain from several sources. Blood Magic give you access to Vampiric and Vampiric Presence for passive lifesteal and Unholy Martyr for passive AOE cleanse. You also have Last Rites and Ritual of Life provide excellent revive utility.

Make sure to take advantage of your condition cleansing and transfer, Putrid Mark and Plague Sending both send harmful conditions back at opponents; Unholy Martyr and Consume Conditions both ‘eat’ conditions for life force and health respectively.

Other than your heal, your best source of sustain is simply sitting in Death Shroud which has 25k extra health with 50% damage reduction, for an equivalent HP pool of 81k on Necromancer . Especially with Protection you’re so tanky that it can be extrememly difficult to focus you.

Keep in mind if you have a support that they cannot heal you in Death Shroud . Do NOT enter Death Shroud if a Heal Guardian or Tempest is trying to support you.
