Condition Soulbeast

Condition Soulbeast is a durable DPS build that is relatively easy to pick up due to its simple rotation. It has great self-sustain capabilities thanks to Predator's Cunning and Rugged Growth. The build can also offer group support by combining Leader of the Pack with stances such as Moa Stance or Dolyak Stance. A significant part of the DPS of the build will come from your allies applying Poisoned due to sharing Vulture Stance.

Optimized variant of this build is built around using Superior Rune of Thorns which focuses on boosting the Poisoned application of this build. This will make the build a bit more reliant on your allies proccing Vulture Stance as often as they can while they have this buff.

Build Fundamentals

Always stay merged with your Pet Beastmode and flank enemies to benefit from Hunter's Tactics and the enhanced versions of your Shortbow skills.

Remember to use "We Heal As One!" during DPS downtime to extend your boons.

You can precast Sharpening Stone, Crippling Shot, and Double Arc before the start of combat for extra damage, but don’t cause unnecessary downtime for 9 other people by precasting.

Always start encounters on Shortbow with Weapon Swap ready. Try to reset your rotation to this state during DPS downtime whenever possible.

Rotation Tips

Try to finish Dagger Auto-attack chain whenever possible (but don’t prioritize it over your weapon skills) and utilize skill queueing (spam #1) to avoid stray Autoattacks between sequences of Dagger weapon skills.

Ideally you want to use Vulture Stance during Bonfire. This will happen naturally if you use Vulture Stance off cooldown after your first Loop and follow the rotation correctly without getting interrupted. In case your Vulture Stance and Bonfire are desynced use Vulture Stance off cooldown.

After your first Loop use One Wolf Pack off cooldown.

Use Concussion Shot off cooldown to proc Twice as Vicious or save it for CC. There is no reason to not use Concussion Shot before swapping to Dagger since it will be almost back off cooldown once you swap back to Shortbow.

Be careful when using Concussion Shot as it has higher skill priority than other Shortbow skills and will thus cancel them.

Pet and Utility Skills

Use Primal Cry and Maul during Auto-attack chain sections. While you are on Dagger try to avoid interrupting your Auto-attack chain with Pet or Utility Skills.

Pets

Swap Lynx for:

• Warthog for CC. Save Brutal Charge for CC and use Maul in place of Maul.
• Bristleback in fights with adds. Use Rain of Spikes while standing in the target’s hitbox while adds are within 600 range. This will send up to 9 projectiles instead of 3. Use Sharpen Spines off cooldown (this can be precast before going into combat).
• Fanged Iboga on bosses where Confusion is strong. Use Narcotic Spores and Crippling Anguish off cooldown.

• Bear Stance for condition cleanse.
• Healing Spring for condition cleanse.
