Introduction

Greatsword Spellbreaker is a DPS build that provides high amounts of burst damage and the option to provide small amounts of boons to your subgroup thanks to the Tactics trait line.

Build Fundamentals

Greatsword Spellbreaker gains a massive damage increase from Attacker's Insight, as disabling foes or removing boons grants 50 Power, Precision, and Ferocity per stack. Use Winds of Disenchantment at the beginning of the Greatsword Loop to increase damage while in Dagger/Axe.

Build Specifics

To gain additional stacks of Attacker's Insight, daze your enemies by using Aura Slicer and Breaching Strike to leap through the lightning field created by Winds of Disenchantment, or by using Full Counter.

To gain extra burst damage without losing Crit Chance, gain 5 stacks of Attacker's Insight by leaping through the lightning field created by Winds of Disenchantment to cover the Precision lost by activating Signet of Fury.

Feel free to move Whirlwind Attack and Rush earlier or later within the Greatsword Loop if restricted by encounter mechanics or positioning requirements.

Crowd Control

• Bull's Charge
• Disrupting Stab
• Full Counter (counter-attack)
• Magebane Tether will pull targets towards you or CC Defiant Enemies if you move out of range.

Alternatives

Superior Sigil of Accuracy can be changed to Superior Sigil of Impact or a Slaying Sigil for encounters where this increases DPS.
To do this, make the following adjustments to your gear:

• Assassin’s Shoulders, Legs, and one Ring
• Use Plate of Coq Au Vin with Salsa or Plate of Truffle Steak as Nourishment.
